What You ll Do:

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of general surgical procedures on both adult and pediatric patients.
• Provide specialized anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, managing neurological status before and after procedures.
• Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia as required.
• Manage ventilation and continually monitor respiratory and neurological status during perioperative care.
• Work closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in a supervised, team-oriented setting.
• Maintain detailed documentation using Epic EMR, ensuring compliance with hospital standards.
• Respond effectively to surgical emergencies, including airway management and intubation as needed.
• Contribute to a busy surgical schedule with approximately 50 cases daily, operating within a Level II Trauma Center environment.
• Enjoy a flexible schedule of 32-40 hours per week with no on-call duties, working either 8- or 10-hour shifts on Monday or Friday.

Required Skills:

• Valid CRNA certification and current state licensure.
• At least 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques, patient monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Epic EMR.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with surgical teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in neurosurgical and spinal anesthesia procedures.
• Previous work in trauma or Level II trauma center environments.
• Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master s degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia.
• Demonstrated experience in surgical and neuroanesthesia settings.

• Availability to start on May 5, 2026.
• Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
• Ability to work within scheduled shifts without on-call responsibilities.
