Interim Contracts Specialist

Our client, a mission-driven healthcare organization, is seeking an Interim Contracts Specialist / Contracts Administrator to support contract management and administrative operations during a transitional period. 

This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with in-office requirements 3 days/week in Novato, CA. This role has a duration of 3 months. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer a centralized contract management system and repository for organizational agreements.
• Track, organize, and manage a variety of contracts, including vendor, consulting, service, partnership, and data-related agreements.
• Coordinate internal contract review, routing, and approval processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and operational stakeholders to facilitate contract administration activities.
• Ensure executed agreements are properly documented, maintained, and accessible to authorized personnel.
• Support contract tracking, recordkeeping, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor contract documentation for completeness and accuracy while maintaining organized records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3 years of experience in contracts administration, contract management, legal operations, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of contract documentation and contractual terminology.
• Experience working with contract management systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
