- We are seeking a Grounds Specialist to support the maintenance and upkeep of cemetery grounds.
- The role will involve general grounds maintenance as well as assisting with burial services and other maintenance-related activities.
- Maintain and care for cemetery grounds and surrounding areas.
- Perform general landscaping and grounds maintenance duties.
- Assist with burial services and related cemetery activities.
- Operate heavy machinery and maintenance equipment as required.
- Perform routine outdoor maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
- Support the maintenance team with other duties as assigned.
- Work weekends when required.
- Previous grounds maintenance, landscaping, cemetery, or general maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery/equipment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive as part of the job.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
