Inventory Control Specialist

Warehouse Inventory Specialist Location: Brownstown, MI Compensation: $19.00/hour plus $2.00/hour differential after 5:00 pm Schedule: 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm Role Summary Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a WarehouseInventory Specialist for our Brownstown, MI location. In this role you will be responsible for all inventory control-related activities. As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist , you will develop the location’s inventory management strategy, intending to control costs within budgetary limits, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize available working capital. Paid $500 after 6 months, another $500 at 12 months of continuous, active full-time employment Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory, including stock and stock locations. Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital. Ensure that the good inward/ stock control department is well-organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and business goals Ensure incoming products are received and managed appropriately according to company procedure. Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required. Provide routine management information on inventory performance Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs, and maximize working capital. Do you have what it takes to succeed at KAO? Are you 18 years of age or older? Do you have at least 6 months of warehouse-related experience? Can you lift products that weigh up to 75 lbs. consistently? Are you comfortable working on your feet all day—standing, walking, bending, and climbing ladders? Are you able to work at heights up to 30 feet without issue? Can you pay strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment? Can we depend on you to show up on time and have a strong work ethic? Are you willing to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse (temperatures vary by season)?
