Dishwasher Position at IHOP

As a Dishwasher at IHOP, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
• Ensure all kitchenware is properly dried and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sinks, dish racks, and floors.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or stocking supplies.
• Empty trash cans and maintain a clean and sanitary refuse area.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
• Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas as required.

Job Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
