We are seeking a Senior Designer who combines exceptional visual design talent with a deep understanding of retail environments, shopper behavior, fixture development, and the rapidly evolving role of AI in the creative process.

Working under the direction of the Creative Director, this individual will help shape the future of physical retail by developing innovative concepts that blend brand storytelling, merchandising strategy, digital visualization, and manufacturing expertise.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable sketching ideas, developing compelling graphic designs, building immersive 3D retail experiences, and leveraging AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation and design exploration.

\n

Partnering closely with the Creative Director, you will play a critical role in transforming client objectives into engaging, commercially successful retail solutions that stand out on the shelf and throughout the store environment.

What You'll Do

\n

\n
• Develop breakthrough creative concepts for permanent and temporary retail displays, fixtures, shop-in-shops, branded environments, and point-of-purchase solutions under the guidance of the Creative Director.
\n
• Translate consumer insights, retail trends, and brand strategies into innovative design solutions that enhance shopper engagement and drive conversion.
\n
• Leverage emerging technologies, including AI-assisted design tools, 3D visualization platforms, and advanced rendering workflows to accelerate concept development and improve presentation quality.
\n
• Create compelling graphic, structural, and environmental design solutions from initial concept through production.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, clients, sales teams, engineers, estimators, and manufacturing teams to bring ideas to life while ensuring feasibility, cost efficiency, and scalability.
\n
• Produce high-quality renderings, visualizations, mood boards, mockups, and presentation materials to effectively communicate design intent.
\n
• Maintain brand consistency and visual excellence across all creative deliverables, ensuring alignment with the overall creative vision established by the Creative Director.
\n
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
\n
• Stay ahead of retail, consumer, sustainability, materials, technology, and design trends to continuously elevate creative output.
\n
• Partner with cross-functional teams throughout the organization to ensure world-class execution from concept through production.
\n
• Support innovation initiatives that explore new materials, manufacturing processes, digital integration, and shopper experience technologies.
\n
• Create concepts, revisions, and final recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients alongside the Creative Director when needed.

What We're Looking For

\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Retail Design, Communication Design, or equivalent professional experience.
\n
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in retail environments, display design, merchandising, graphics, branding, and 3D visualization.
\n
• Proven ability to take projects from concept through production.
\n
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
\n
• Strong understanding of retail fixtures, display systems, shopper journeys, and merchandising principles.
\n
• Exceptional attention to detail, typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling.
\n

Technical Skills:

\n

\n
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
\n
• Experience with 3DS Max required. V-Ray, SketchUp or comparable 3D visualization and rendering platforms including Solidworks, a plus.
\n
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative and visualization tools that enhance ideation, concept generation, rendering, and workflow efficiency.
\n
• Ability to create professional designs, documentation, and production-ready creative assets if needed.
\n
• Strong sketching, drawing, and visual communication skills.
\n
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and retail display fabrication is highly desirable.

Compensation

\n

The base salary range being offered is $110,000 - $135,000 per year. This position also provides a comprehensive benefits package.

\n

\n

Note on Compensation

\n

The base salary range for this position is being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
