Paraprofessional / Teacher Aide (Special Education)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85021
Job Type: Contract
Duration: Contract
Shift: Day | 5×8 Hours
Hours: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: No
Pay Rate: $20–$23/hr
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Associate’s degree, 60 college credits, or valid Paraprofessional Certification
Current Arizona Driver’s License
CPR/First Aid/BLS certification
Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Crisis Intervention certification or ability to obtain
ASL or Braille skills preferred
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with instructional activities and IEP implementation
Provide one-on-one and small-group academic and social skills support
Support classroom routines and behavior management
Assist students with toileting, feeding, hygiene, lifting, and mobility
Monitor student safety and adaptive equipment
Maintain accurate student documentation and records
Transport students to school activities when required
