Cardiac Physician Assistant
Mental Health Association of Rochester
Role: Experienced Physician Assistant specializing in cardiac surgery, primarily functioning as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room. Key Responsibilities Assist in surgeries by positioning and draping patients under surgeon supervision Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical exams Conduct daily inpatient rounds in ICU and stepdown units Provide rotating weekend and night CVOR coverage Qualifications & Skills At least 2+ years of experience as a surgical first assist, with independent call experience Current Texas State License (or willingness to obtain) Board certified by NCCPA Active BLS and ACLS certifications Additional Details: This is a non-travel, non-staffing position.
