When you join our team, you become part of a company that values integrity, works together, and takes pride in creating homes that last for generations.What You'll Do as a CarpenterBuild custom log homes by performing framing, log setting, timber work, wood wall installations, and finish trim carpentry.Measure materials and project areas accurately to ensure precision and quality craftsmanship on every build.Prepare each workday by loading tools and materials at the shop and participating in daily team meetings before heading to the job site.Support shop operations by staining materials, preparing components, and helping keep projects on schedule during inclement weather.Assist with site preparation, including concrete prep and other construction tasks needed to keep projects moving forward.Work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work areas while maintaining a clean and organized job site.Collaborate with your crew, Project Lead, and homeowners to solve problems, communicate effectively, and deliver exceptional finished homes.Our Ideal CarpenterCraftsmanship: Take pride in producing high-quality work, pay close attention to the details that make every custom home exceptional, keeping your tools, materials, and workspace organized to support efficiency and quality.Dependability: You show up on time, prepared for the day, bring a positive, solutions-focused attitude, and follow through on your commitments, even when projects become challenging.Adaptability: Enjoy a variety of work, are comfortable moving between framing, finish carpentry, shop work, staining, and changing job site priorities, and think critically to find practical solutions when challenges arise.Construction Experience: Previous construction experience, and experience with framing and layout is a plus.Safety Awareness: Prioritize safe work practices, help maintain a safe environment for the entire crew, and can safely lift up to 100 pounds while bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working on scaffolding, and performing physically demanding work throughout the day.Team Mindset: Communicate well, welcome feedback, work respectfully with others, and value the faith, integrity, and relationships that define the Gingrich Builders team.What We Offer Our CarpenterPay: $24-$36/hour, DOEHealth InsurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysIRA with Company contributionAnnual BonusTools & Safety Equipment ProvidedTo ApplyExperienced Carpenters, Framing Carpenters, Finish Carpenters, Log Home Carpenters, Timber Frame Carpenters, and Construction Carpenters who are passionate about quality craftsmanship and want to build custom log homes with Gingrich Builders are encouraged to apply.
