Associate Director, Business Analytics

Build and develop a deep understanding of clients' strategic issues, initiatives, and competitive position Ensure analytics efforts produce clear, compelling, actionable insights and narratives through sophisticated analytic techniques Participate in measurement plan development and execution Deliver scheduled and ad hoc deliverables on time Recommend and implement research supporting consumer insights and strategic processes Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes Lead, mentor, and train analysts and managers Present reports, POVs, and other materials to clients by phone and in person Contribute to consumer segmentation and audience identification/exploration Design tests measuring the incremental impact of media on business outcomes Manage cross-functional day-to-day tasks and priorities Partner with Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development, and budget/plan optimization Lead and mentor direct reports, assess capabilities, provide career-growth roadmaps, and establish skill-development goals Keep current with industry trends through research and training Requirements Intermediate level skills with Excel and PowerPoint 5-7 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting Experience in integrated marketing related to media and/or customer journey development, including budgeting, revenue forecasting, and ROI development Demonstrated knowledge in audience-based marketing and data-driven advertising Analytic skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Proven leadership ability and strong, impactful client relationship experience Familiarity with statistical analysis, including linear regression and data visualization Stellar communication and presentation skills Ability to train and coach colleagues Organization, detail orientation, prioritization, business writing, presenting, conducting analysis, and project management skills Comfortable working in ambiguous situations A university degree Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in data and analytics within advertising and marketing, with a strong focus on audience-based marketing, media planning, and delivering actionable insights.
