Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Key Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, under direct supervision of the Medical Director or Assigned Psychiatrist, but not limited to: 1. Analyzes and evaluates client data and test or examination findings to diagnose nature and extent of mental disorder. 2. Prescribes, directs, and administers psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. 3. Gathers and maintains client information and records, including social and medical history obtained from client, relatives, and other professionals. 4. Advises and informs guardians, relatives and significant others of the client's condition and treatment. 5. Prepares case reports and summaries for client, agency, and other agencies when applicable. Basic Qualifications: NJ APN License (Required) PMHNP Board Certification (Required) Must be available to work a full 40 hour week, 5 days a week Previous experience working as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at an outpatient mental health practice Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual is a plus 3 years experience as a PHMNP Benefits: Access to Clinical Supervision and support Growth opportunities including yearly reviews.
