Work from home on Fridays About the Opportunity A growing logistics and transportation company in Blue Ash, Ohio, is seeking a motivated, self-driven Logistics Operations Coordinator to join its expanding team. This position combines logistics operations, customer service, relationship building, and business development. The ideal candidate enjoys communicating with customers, negotiating rates, solving problems, and building long-term business relationships. Responsibilities Identify, develop, and generate new business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers. Coordinate freight shipments and manage customer transportation needs. Negotiate rates with customers and freight carriers. Assist account managers with daily operations and business development. Help expand the company's Full Truckload (FTL) business. Serve as a liaison between customers, carriers, shippers, and receivers. Troubleshoot shipping issues and develop effective solutions. Provide excellent customer service and maintain long-term business relationships. Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable making frequent phone calls and communicating with new people. Self-motivated, dependable, and results-driven. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Willingness to learn logistics systems and transportation operations. Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, sales, dispatching, or account management is a plus.
