Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Shift times: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM. Rotating schedule: 3x12s, 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage: Required, typically 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule.

License: Valid RN license (compact or state). Experience: Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg experience; previous travel experience preferred. Certifications: BLS required. EMR: EPIC charting experience required. Skills: IV start/maintenance, telemetry experience, management of drips (heparin/insulin), basic wound care, enteral tube care, phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, PICC/PICC care, tracheostomy care (competency confirmation needed).

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to develop individualized care plans. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Urgent fingerprinting requirement: Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after signing contract; compliance deadline is Tuesday prior to start. Vaccines: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required. Submission requirements: Include return-to-office (RTO) in submission; locals accepted at the same rate.
