Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Portland, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government tourism location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, guests, and personnel at government tourism locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, entrances, parking areas, offices, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and general information as needed. Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
