Desktop Support Technician (Onsite)

We're looking for a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to join a team supporting a large-scale merger and acquisition integration within a manufacturing and laboratory environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working directly with end users, and thrives in a fast-paced setting where no two days are the same.
Important: This is a 100% onsite position . Due to the nature of the merger and acquisition project, the duration of the assignment is currently unknown. We're looking for individuals who are comfortable with change, adaptable to business needs, and flexible with scheduling. While you'll work 40 hours per week , shifts may occur during the day, overnight, or on weekends depending on project requirements.
What You'll Be Doing

• Provide white-glove IT support to end users in person, remotely, and through various support channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application issues.
• Support Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, Microsoft 365 applications, Teams, OneDrive, and related technologies.
• Assist users with workstation setups, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and conference room technology.
• Manage and update incidents, service requests, and tasks through ServiceNow.
• Partner closely with colleagues and business users to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
• Support technology deployments, workstation refreshes, migrations, and integration activities related to the merger and acquisition effort.
• Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate and serve as a reliable point of contact throughout the resolution process.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes and enhance the overall user experience.
• Travel locally between sites as needed to provide onsite support.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Desktop Support experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong experience supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and remote support tools such as Bomgar or RDP.
• Experience working within a ticketing platform, preferably ServiceNow.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, adapt quickly, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a larger support team.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting manufacturing environments.
• Previous involvement in merger and acquisition (M&A) technology projects.
• Experience supporting laboratory or pharmaceutical environments.
• Exposure to BitLocker, McAfee encryption, and MacOS support.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
