Speak with clear articulation.Respectfully submit and be loyal to constituted authority (Titus 3:1)Maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, and good taste consistent with school policy.Essential Job FunctionsSpiritual LeadershipModel victorious Christian living to students and families (Philippians 2:1-5)Model and help students to resolve conflict biblically (Matthew 18:15-17)Pray for students, parents, staff, and the entire OCS community(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)AdministrativeAdheres to all policies and procedures governing the operation of the schoolProvide a high school environment that is Christ-centered, safe, professional, academically challenging, and encouragingAdheres to all policies and procedures governing the operation of the schoolMaintain an excellent working knowledge of all policies, procedures, and handbooksRespect professional ethics that require confidentiality concerning the sharing of information about children, parents, or staffAttends and arrives punctually to scheduled devotional, committee, and faculty meetingsMaintains professional dress and appearance as specified in the Employee HandbookRepresents the school favorably and professionally to its constituencyMaintain professional and effective relationships with the administrative teamEffectively communicate with students, parents, faculty, and staffAcademic and OperationalSchedule students into classes according to their course requestsCreate the schedule boardEnroll new students: send records requests, enter new transcripts, records, and standardized test scores.Archive records for withdrawn students and send records to the next schoolCreate schedules for special events/daysMake schedule changes for students who need themCoordination of concurrent offeringsUpdate ACT/SAT information on transcriptsCertify that all graduation requirements are updated on transcripts, including failing grades or missing creditsProvide a ranking of students upon requestCoordination of the graduation consultant and the ordering of graduation materialsSend transcripts to graduates upon requestCreate finals scheduleCertify that Renweb has properly loaded report cards and transcript grades before releaseAttend professional development on FACTS or the grading systemAid with awards for honor rollsMaintain up-to-date student rostersAssists the principals/counselor in coordinating NWEA, ACT, and PSATFaculty News is sent to each teacher for the week and the weeks to comeAssist class sponsors in various activitiesAccess cameras and record information as necessaryAdditional Duties or ResponsibilitiesSupport the broader program of the school by attending extracurricular activities when possible. (Back to School Worship night, Big Bash, school trips, Saints 5K, drama production, athletic events, band performances, Fine Arts night, carnivals, etc.)Maintains a clean, attractive, well-ordered officeParticipates in the end-of-year closing of the school process, such as inventorying of textbooks, furniture, equipment, etc.Treats all school-owned technology (hardware and software) with respect, care, professionalism, and in accordance with the Technology Use Agreement #J-18808-Ljbffr
