Information specific to this position: This position is for a Manufacturing Teacher at the Career Tech Center. The scheduled hours for this position are 12:30 PM-4:30 PM Mondaythrough Friday.

Required Qualifications

• At least two years (or equivalent hours) of paid occupational experience in machining/manufacturing with recent industry experience preferred
• Hands-on expertise with manual lathes and milling machines Holds or is eligible for a Colorado CTE Authorization in Manufacturing/Machining
• Proficiency in blueprint reading precision measurement and inspection tools and shop safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

• CNC programming and operation (G-code setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes)
• CAD/CAM experience (e.g. Mastercam Fusion 360 SolidWorks)
• Industry certifications such as NIMS credentials or OSHA
• 10/30 Teaching training or apprenticeship-mentoring experience
• Experience with GD&T quality control or lean manufacturing

Percentage: 50%

Hours/Day: 4 (12:30 PM-4:30 PM)

Work calendar days: 188 (5 extended contract days)

Duration of position: Ongoing

Benefits include: PERA retirement paid time off short and long term disability access to employee walk-in clinic as well as other optional benefit elections.

Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $58000 - $89278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 10th 2026).

This is a probationary position. However PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selectedwillretain contract status.

Must have a valid Colorado Educators License with appropriate endorsement.
