Aflac is looking for an experienced, motivated sales professional interested in building and developing a high-performing sales team serving Shasta and Siskiyou Counties in Northern California.

As an Aflac District Sales Coordinator , you'll have the opportunity to manage your own business, develop sales professionals, build relationships with local businesses and expand your presence throughout the Northern California market - with the resources and recognition of the Aflac brand behind you.

This opportunity is well suited for someone with experience in sales leadership, insurance, business development, recruiting, coaching or team development who wants greater control over their business and earning potential.

• Train and develop Aflac independent sales agents
• Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and achieve sales goals
• Build and develop a productive sales team
• Maintain and help grow existing client relationships
• Generate new business through networking, referrals and prospecting
• Develop relationships with businesses throughout Shasta and Siskiyou Counties
• Deliver on-site presentations to employers showcasing Aflac solutions
• Educate employees about available benefit options and support enrollment needs
• Provide ongoing enrollment, claims and service support
• Lead and participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development

• Health and/or life insurance license required
• Proven sales or insurance industry experience
• Leadership, coaching or mentoring ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven
• Ability to develop talent and collaborate with others to achieve results
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a successful business
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass applicable background requirements
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Shasta and Siskiyou Counties, California

This Northern California territory includes opportunities throughout Redding, Anderson, Shasta Lake, Yreka, Mount Shasta, Weed and surrounding communities.

The District Sales Coordinator will be based in the Redding area and will focus on developing agents, business relationships and market growth throughout the two-county territory.

This is not a salaried position.

Aflac sales agents are independent agents of Aflac and are not employees of Aflac.

Compensation is performance-based and may include commissions, bonuses, residual income and stock opportunities. Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance and results.
