Recently named a Forbes America's Best-In-State Employer 2022!$20,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS Available (connect with our Talent Acquisition team on eligibility requirements)ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) II, Acute Care will work Full Time, Days and is accountable for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, delivers, coordinates, integrates, and evaluates nursing care related to patients.The Registered Nurse contributes to the support of patients through interdisciplinary teamwork.The RN I status and job description is only appropriate for a new nurse in the first year of practice, as support from others in incorporated into this role as an expectation.Registered Nurse I's are expected to complete the requirements of the Nurse Residency program and complete the application and credentialing process for successful advancement to RN II by 12-15 months after hire.RNs II through IV are accountable to assure that the care provided is consistent with applicable standards, regulations, statutes and state, federal law.RNs II through IV serve as a resource for other staff and clinicians as required.The Registered Nurse IV provides leadership to department staff, serving as a resource and mentor.The RN IV contributes to the body of professional nursing practice through participation in research, committee work, and professional organizations, internal and external.QualificationsBassett Healthcare Network follows the New York State and New York State Department of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandates for healthcare workers.
