Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid COTA certification, with authorization to work in a school setting.
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or within an educational environment is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and data-driven documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and diverse student needs.
• Passion for supporting students’ independence, participation, and success in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, targeting goals outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Support students in the development of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes in accordance with school and state guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective carryover of therapeutic strategies within the classroom and at home.
• Assist with assessments, goal setting, and progress monitoring as part of a collaborative therapy team.
