Our mission is to provide exceptional patient-centered care with a focus on innovation and excellence.Position Overview: As a Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team by performing venipunctures, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both phlebotomy and medical assisting, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.Key Responsibilities:Perform venipunctures and collect lab specimens following proper protocolsAssist with patient intake, including vitals, medical history, and documentationPrepare exam rooms and assist providers with procedures as neededMaintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical systemEnsure proper handling and transport of laboratory specimensProvide excellent patient service and ensure a comfortable experienceMaintain a clean and organized clinical environmentQualifications:Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification requiredMedical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)Minimum of 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and/or medical assistingProficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced settingExcellent communication and patient care skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamBenefits:Competitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holiday payOpportunities for growth and professional developmentSupportive and team-oriented work environmentJoin Medicus Spine & Joint and be part of a team dedicated to transforming lives through high-quality patient care.
