Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of health histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical ailments through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide key intraoperative assistance by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during surgeries
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative support, including managing medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
