Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, inclusive of physical examinations and comprehensive medical history evaluations
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical issues through understanding imaging studies and laboratory findings
• Work alongside surgeons to devise and implement tailor-made surgical treatment plans
• Offer intraoperative assistance, which entails preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative care including administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrevoked PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
