Job Title: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
Location: Hackensack, NJ
Type: Contract | 12 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $2420.00 - $2550.00 Weekly
Traveler Pay: $2800.00 - $2900.00 Weekly

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hackensack, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-operative admission assessments.

• Perform IV placement and vascular access procedures.

• Provide post-operative recovery care in the PACU setting.

• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.

• Communicate patient status, treatment plans, and care updates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Administer medications safely using bar-scanning and electronic documentation technologies.

• Maintain accurate point-of-care electronic documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, wellness, and disease management.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary discharge planning to support safe transitions of care.

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care while adhering to established policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

• Active New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse license or valid multi-state compact license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA).

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

• Telemetry Certification.

• Minimum of six (6) months of general nursing experience.

• At least 2 recent years of experience in critical care, pre-op, and Recovery/PACU environments.

• Strong background in Telemetry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• 3+ years of PACU experience.
