Registered Nurse (RN) – Preop / PACU (Interventional Radiology) – Contract

Location: Hackensack, NJ

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Pay Rate: $70 - $75/Hour

Shift:

• Day Shift

• Monday – Friday

• 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM

• 40–42.5 Hours Per Week

• No Weekends

• No Holidays

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with Preoperative, PACU, Critical Care, and Telemetry experience to provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology and related procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient assessments, IV access, recovery monitoring, and ensuring safe care throughout the perioperative process.

• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License

• Current AHA BLS Certification

• Current AHA ACLS Certification

• Current AHA PALS Certification

• Telemetry Certification

• Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care, Pre-op, and PACU experience

• Strong Telemetry experience

• ASN required; BSN preferred

• Strong IV insertion and patient assessment skills

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills

• 3+ years of PACU experience

• Interventional Radiology experience

• Strong telemetry background

• Conduct comprehensive preoperative patient assessments

• Establish IV access and prepare patients for procedures

• Monitor patients during post-anesthesia recovery

• Provide pre-op and post-procedure care for Interventional Radiology patients

• Monitor telemetry and identify cardiac rhythm changes

• Administer medications and interventions as ordered

• Ensure patient safety and stabilization throughout all perioperative phases

• Document nursing care accurately and timely

• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and radiology teams

• Maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards

• New Jersey RN License (or Compact License)

• AHA BLS

• AHA ACLS

• AHA PALS

• Telemetry Certification

• Acute Care Hospital Environment

• Interventional Radiology Procedural Unit

• Pre-op and PACU Recovery Setting

• Monday–Friday Schedule

• No Weekends or Holidays

• High-Acuity Patient Population
