Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Pharmacy at a 70-bed LTAC hospital in San Diego. This role requires immediate availability and offers a 13-week contract with potential for temp-to-hire.
Location: El Cajon, CA
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive oversight of pharmacy operations
- Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for the site
- Utilize RX Connect for pharmacy IT systems
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize pharmacy services
Qualifications:
- Valid California pharmacist license
- Proven experience as Director of Pharmacy within California
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Familiarity with LTAC hospital pharmacy operations preferred
Additional Details:
- This is a contract assignment with potential to convert to permanent
- Support is provided for travel-related expenses, including hotel, car, and flight costs (at cost)
