Process Engineer

Our client, a leading electronics manufacturing services company, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in analyzing customer engineering documentation, preparing Bills of Material (BOMs), and supporting competitive bids for new business opportunities. This position blends technical execution with cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring manufacturing processes meet engineering and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to remain flexible in dynamic environments.

Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Longmont, CO

What’s the Job?

• Analyze customer engineering documentation and BOMs to support competitive bids

• Perform labor quotations and assist with final bid compilation

• Interpret and convey customer technical specifications, engineering drawings, and process instructions

• Provide engineering support to cross‑functional teams (CFT), including test, DFM, and DFSC requests

• Recommend and implement process improvements across manufacturing operations

• Interface with workflow and data management systems

• Ensure proper handling of controlled customer documentation

• Support ISO standards and corporate/site 6S objectives

• Provide technical solutions to customers and site manufacturing teams

What’s Needed?

• College degree in engineering or equivalent training/experience

• Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing methods, procedures, and production line layouts

• Familiarity with ANSI and ISO standards, ITAR, and EAR guidelines

• Exposure to DFM, DFA, and DFSC principles

• Ability to interpret specifications, schematics, and mechanical drawings

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)

• Working knowledge of industry standards: IPC‑610, ESD, ISO 9002, and other applicable ISO standards

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams

• Flexibility to manage multiple priorities with urgency and meet deadlines
