Role Description The Industrial Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Claymont, DE, responsible for overseeing daily field operations on fireproofing and industrial coatings projects. This role coordinates crews, assigns tasks, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. The Industrial Foreman monitors the use of heavy equipment and tools, verifies material quantities, and supports quality control through regular inspections and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with project managers, communicating job requirements to team members, resolving site issues, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also involves training team members on proper installation techniques, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting basic maintenance and carpentry tasks related to project needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including crew leadership, task delegation, and on-site decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience operating or overseeing heavy equipment commonly used in industrial construction or coatings projects.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, contractors, and project management.
• Candidates should possess practical carpentry skills and the ability to perform related construction tasks as required by the project.
• Candidates should possess basic maintenance skills for tools, equipment, and site infrastructure to support safe and reliable operations.
• Relevant experience in industrial construction, coatings, or fireproofing environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA standards, and commitment to safe work practices is essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade certifications in construction or coatings are beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, lift and move materials as needed, and stand or walk for extended periods.
