Join a collaborative and caring team dedicated to providing person-centered care and enhancing the lives of our residents every day.Position DetailsRole: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – PRN/Per Diem, Part-Time, Full-Time Salary: $40.00–$49.00 per hour, Depending on ExperienceYour ContributionsAs an LPN at Tacoma Nursing and Rehabilitation, you'll provide essential nursing care and support to residents and families while promoting a safe, positive environment. You will:Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician.Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with care plans.Document assessments, care, and resident progress with precision and confidentiality.Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care.Core QualificationsActive Washington State LPN license.Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team.Physical ability to lift/maneuver up to 30 lbs.Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy Rules.Current CPR certification.Additional Experience That Sets You ApartSkilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.Familiarity with behavioral and memory care.Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC).Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor residents' health status and report changes promptly.Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.Participate in care planning and documentation.Educate residents and families on health-related concerns.Support and mentor CNAs in day-to-day care tasks.Maintain compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards.Why Choose Tacoma Nursing & Rehabilitation?At Tacoma Nursing and Rehabilitation, we value teamwork, respect, integrity, and compassion.
