The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience working across distributed systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Integration and End-to-End Validation:Perform end-to-end validation across applications, services, databases, APIs, and third-party systemsVerify component deployments, configurations, integrations, and data flows.Conduct environment and release readiness assessments prior to QA handoffIdentify and troubleshoot integration gaps, configuration issues, and system dependenciesValidate APIs, batch processes, messaging services, and external interfacesRelease and Deployment Support:Support release planning, deployment activities, and post-deployment validationVerify release components, configurations, database updates, and dependenciesExecute smoke testing and system health checks following deploymentsMaintain release documentation, validation checklists, and deployment proceduresPartner with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful releasesTroubleshooting and Production Support:Investigate and resolve complex integration, deployment, and system issuesAnalyze application logs, database records, monitoring tools, and API responses to determine root causesCoordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to drive issue resolution.Support production incidents and provide technical troubleshooting when neededDocument findings, corrective actions, and long-term solutionsScripting and Technical Validation:Develop scripts and utilities to support testing, deployment, and environment validationUse API testing and automation tools to validate integrations and workflowsCreate reusable validation processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effortSupport automated smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing initiativesAnalyze test results and system behavior to identify risks before deploymentStakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, product management, business teams, support teams, and external vendorsCommunicate technical issues, risks, dependencies, and release readiness clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience4+ years experience supporting or testing large-scale integrated systems across multiple applications and servicesStrong understanding of system integration, software releases, and deployment processesExperience troubleshooting APIs, integrations, data flows, databases, and distributed systemsExperience reviewing logs, monitoring tools, and system diagnostics to identify root causesScripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate across technical and business teamsPreferred QualificationsWorking knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.Experience with API validation and automation tools such as Postman, Playwright, Selenium, or similarFamiliarity with Jira, Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deploymentsExperience working in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environmentsKnowledge of microservices, REST APIs, messaging platforms, and distributed systemsExperience supporting production systems and incident managementPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
