SENIOR PLUMBER

Responsibilities Skilled plumbing work in the supervision of journeyman plumbers and steam fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and heating systems; and related work as required. This position offers permanent status and requires one (1) year of experience as a plumber with the City of New Orleans. Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana State Journeyman Plumber’s license. One (1) year of plumbing experience earned after receipt of a Journeyman Plumber’s license. A rating of training and experience, weighted 100%, will be evaluated. All related previous experience will be considered for qualification purposes; however, credit on the rating of training and experience will only be given for experience gained within the last ten (10) years.
