FLSA Status: Exempt. Summary The Department of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is seeking a primary care provider faculty member to join our team committed to providing care to diverse and underserved populations in the Greater Houston and Harris County area. This role offers the opportunity to participate in academic activities supporting medical student education and research, and to provide direct patient care services at Strawberry Clinic, an affiliate facility designated as a patient‑centered medical home by NCQA. Job Duties Duties include direct patient care and, if desired, educating medical students and participating in clinical research. Faculty are expected to support evidence‑based medicine with an emphasis on outcome‑based analysis. Minimum Qualifications Education: M.D. or D.O. Certification/Licenses/Registration: Active Texas Medical Board license and Board Certification in Family Medicine (Baylor allows a grace period of four years from residency graduation). Experience Residency training in Family Medicine. No prior practice experience required. Work Authorization Requirement This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
