Location: Lincoln, NE
Job Type: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Nursing Home
Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Shift: Weekend Warrior – Days
Shift Time: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Hours: 36 hours per week
Start Date: Monday or Wednesday starts only

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a Long-Term Care (LTC) / nursing home setting .

This is a Weekend Warrior position requiring 12-hour day shifts. The CNA will work closely with nursing staff and the healthcare team to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Take and accurately document vital signs as required.
Safely reposition and transfer residents.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
Follow facility policies, care plans, and infection-control procedures.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
Support residents with daily care needs while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and comfort.

Requirements

Current CNA certification required.
Previous Long-Term Care / nursing home experience preferred.
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts .
Weekend availability required.
Must be able to work the designated Weekend Warrior schedule .
NE DHHS processing is currently delayed ; candidates should be prepared for potential credentialing/licensure delays.
Monday or Wednesday starts only.
Overtime is not guaranteed .
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
