Mailroom Clerk

Candidates who receive an offer will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug test as a condition of employment.

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking without assistance
• Occasional lifting of 50 lbs or more (with assistance)
• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English

• Reliability, punctuality, and strong time management skills
• Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to track information using computer systems

• Operate high-volume duplicating, production, sorting, mailing, or bindery equipment
• Perform associated copying tasks, shipping/receiving, and mail/fax handling
• Apply necessary postage and distribute mail/supplies to personnel or drop-off points
• Provide copier maintenance and basic troubleshooting; escalate issues to technicians
• Perform scanning/imaging of documents
• Temporary/occasional reception services as needed
• Maintain records for management reports and supply inventories
• Calculate charges for jobs performed, maintain logs, and generate reports
• Respond to and coordinate service calls required by customers
• Deliver completed jobs to designated locations (within or outside site)
• Maintain daily meter and service logs
• Travel between customer buildings as required
• Answer customer questions regarding job status or feasibility
• Keep copier areas neat and stocked
• Perform shipping/receiving duties and dock work in mailroom environment
• Assist with meeting/conference room setups and building occupant moves
• Perform light maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned
• May require periodic overtime (nights, weekends, off-hour emergency response)
• Use equipment such as shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery tools, jogger, tape machine, stackers, electric stapler, scales, copier, calculator, fax machine, postage meter, and PC
• Perform filing duties, including purging and archiving old documents
• Ensure data for Ricoh MOR, SPG, and job logs are captured
• Understand Ricoh Services Portfolio & Technology
• Perform other duties as assigned
