Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an RN OR Circulator for a travel assignment requiring an active AL or compact RN license and 2 years of operating room experience.

Job Details

• 5 Operating Rooms and 2 Endo Suites within the surgical services department,
• Adult and geriatric patient population,
• Specialties include General Surgery, Plastics, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Vascular,
• Common procedures include pain injections, eye surgeries, EGD, colonoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, wound debridement, port insertion and removal, breast implant procedures, AV grafts, fistulogram, and tunnel caths,
• 1:1 patient ratio,
• Uses RFA machine, Sentinel Node equipment, Plastics equipment, Vaser Lipo Suction, and Phaco machine,
• Currently uses OR Manager Picis, transitioning to Meditech OR Manager,
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM,
• Every other weekend required,
• Float to PACU if needed, though not required,
• Late stay call required Monday through Thursday from 3-5 PM with no scheduled cases after 5 PM daily,

Job Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required,
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS preferred,
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required,
• Associate's degree required,
• Skillset to support listed surgical specialties and patient population required,

Additional Information

• > general and specialty surgical procedures and circulating duties as an OR RN,
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays,
• Scrubs provided by the facility,
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility,
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
