Job Title PD RN, Surgical Oncology Location RWJBarnabas Health, Morris Cancer Center, 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Department Oncology Unit - MCC-8 Job Type & Shift Per Diem, Night Shift (7p-7:30a) Pay Range $47.85 – $71.72 per hour Pay Transparency The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. Compensation offered will depend on education, skills, and experience. Qualifications BSN 1 Year of Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting Preferred 1-3 years of Oncology RN experience Oncology or BMTU certification preferred Certifications and Licenses BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements Night Shift: 7p-7:30a 24 Hours per month, Weekends & Holidays required Per Diem Essential Functions The RN provides nursing care within scope of practice and ethical standards. Ensures safety and engages in evidence‑based practice, maintaining knowledge and communicating with resources. Reports safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Has knowledge of patient population served. Supervises and delegates tasks, collaborating with team members. Sets priorities and interventions with measurable outcomes for improvement. Acts as individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, using nursing process to individualize plan of care.
