Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Ascension Seton Hays 6001 Kyle Parkway Kyle, TX 78640; Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures. Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient’s condition to physician before, during, and after procedures. Perform or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures. Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required; Advanced Life Support preferred, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.
