Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - FT Nights

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting within a 38-bed unit, managing a diverse range of clinical issues such as blood dyscrasias, endocrine disorders, heart and renal failure, and infectious diseases. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development. Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the interprofessional team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors. Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Licensure: Valid RN license. Experience: No experience required; less than 2 years preferred. Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
