This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance, but you will occasionally collaborate with team members and clients through virtual meetings or community activities. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and ongoing assessments to identify patients’ needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Collaborate with patients and families to address various factors related to mental health, including social, environmental, and cultural influences.
\n
• Effectively manage and coordinate patient dispositions to ensure the appropriate level of care, whether through inpatient services, outpatient therapies, or community resources.
\n
• Document all clinical interactions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with legal and organizational standards, including statistical reports required for program evaluation.
\n
• Participate actively in mental health and medical rounds and case conferences, contributing your expertise to identify areas for improvement and collaborative care strategies.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions and other therapeutic interventions targeting specific mental health diagnoses, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each group.

• Regularly participate in clinical supervision and peer consultations to enhance your skill set and ensure adherence to best practices in mental health counseling.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, providing mentorship and guidance to foster their professional development.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest research and evidence-based practices in mental health to continuously improve your approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. You will focus on delivering culturally competent care, recognizing the significant impact socioeconomic and cultural factors have on mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid State license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in an outpatient mental health setting or community health experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and community partners.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Unity Point also provides an attractive benefits package including:
