School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Albany, New York

Make a meaningful impact working with children in an educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, contract opportunity spans the entire school year and is an excellent fit for SLPs with their CCC as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) seeking a supportive, growth-oriented environment. Candidates will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to provide dedicated services to early learners in an established childhood center near Albany, NY.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Eligibility for or possession of NY state licensure as an SLP
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but supervision for CFYs is available
• Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings is a plus
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
• Ability to create a motivating, positive, and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students in early childhood programs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Deliver services through individual and small group sessions
• Maintain thorough documentation compliant with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with general/special education staff, administrators, and family members for student support
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development initiatives
