A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Albany, NY, for a motivated professional ready to make a meaningful impact on student communication and language development. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate student strengths and challenges.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals.
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions targeting articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills.
• Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive student support.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Participating in ongoing professional development, including meetings and trainings, to stay current with therapy techniques and best practices.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with diverse treatment approaches such as AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Well-organized with the ability to manage caseloads efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
