Sign Language Interpreter

We are currently seeking individuals who speak both Burmese and English fluently. The opportunity we currently have available allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. *****This is for In Person Interpreting***** Requirements Have informal or professional interpretation experience Are fluent in both Burmese and English Preferred - experience supporting Child Protection and Adult Protection Services It is preferred to have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one yearof related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience). Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, Experience in the healthcare industry experience ispreferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.).
