Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound exams, which include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring that each procedure is communicated clearly and compassionately
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained
• Operate and ensure the maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting any issues immediately
• Keep accurate documentation of procedures and uphold consistent patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
