The Neurology Department at our organization is on the lookout for Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists to enhance and grow our expanding Neuromuscular Division.

Our institution is the sole academic medical center located in northeastern New York. As a private, non-profit entity, we deliver healthcare services to over 3 million individuals. Our Neurology Department features well-established programs in:

• Epilepsy
• Dementia
• Movement Disorders
• Neuromuscular Diseases
• Pediatric Neurology
• Pain Management
• Stroke and Neurocritical Care

Position Highlights

• Deliver patient care in a collaborative setting alongside both general and specialized neurology professionals.
• Instruct and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Conduct and analyze EMG/NCS studies.
• Engage in numerous research opportunities.
• Academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, contingent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology.
• Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular Fellowship.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
• Strong passion for education and mentorship.
