Job Details Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370 Start Date: October 19, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Night shift, 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM Shift Pattern: 4 days per week Shift Duration: 8-hour nights Hours per Week: 40 Setting: Operating Room / Surgical Services Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Job Requirements Current New Mexico RN license or active compact state RN license BLS certification from AHA required ACLS certification from AHA required Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program At least 1 year of RN experience preferred; Operating Room or surgical nursing experience strongly preferred Ability to provide safe, age-appropriate care in a clinical surgical environment Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach Comfortable with occasional call responsibilities and floating as needed Responsibilities Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the surgical population Perform thorough assessments and establish care priorities based on patient needs Reassess patients and respond to changes in condition or clinical trends Develop and carry out individualized plans of care in alignment with nursing standards Document interventions, outcomes, and patient progress accurately and timely Support patient and family education throughout the care process Participate in discharge planning and ongoing plan-of-care evaluation Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and team members to promote safe, efficient care Assist with point-of-care testing procedures as needed Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on quality and safety Apply now for this travel nurse job in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and take the next step in your OR nursing career.
