Fund Accountant, Alternative Investment Funds (Hybrid)

Job Overview The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing and seeks new members for our Alternative Investment Funds accounting team. As a Fund Accountant, you will act as an intermediary between the funds and their investment managers and serve as the official record keeper for the funds. Responsibilities Price and maintain timely records for hedge and private equity holdings using external pricing resources. Perform reconciliations regarding Net Asset Values and provide accounting reports. Communicate transactions associated with the fund(s) and support internal and external clients to provide accurate accounting packages. Coordinate and support year‑end audit engagements in accordance with GAAP. Perform due‑diligence to ensure compliance with government laws and regulations. Correspond with external investment managers regarding day‑to‑day fund inquiries, including fee payments, cash position breaks, and reconciliations. Engage clients and provide quality service. Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience. Internship experience preferred. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel. Self‑motivation and drive to monitor multiple client deliverables. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and customer service skills.
