Position Overview

The General Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring outstanding customer service, driving financial performance, developing employees, and maintaining operational excellence across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop top talent while building a high-performing team.
• Coach employees through regular performance reviews, goal setting, and ongoing professional development.
• Oversee daily operations to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, payroll, and labor costs while maintaining a productive work environment.
• Review monthly financial statements and key performance indicators to identify trends, improve profitability, and support business growth.
• Monitor operational metrics including sales performance, project completion, service productivity, customer satisfaction, receivables, and overall business performance.
• Maintain clear communication across all departments, ensuring team members stay aligned with company goals and priorities.
• Keep ownership informed of business performance, challenges, and action plans with a strong sense of urgency.
• Resolve operational issues and customer concerns promptly while implementing long-term solutions.
• Establish measurable goals for departments and employees while holding the team accountable for results.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workplace by enforcing company policies and regulatory requirements.

About You

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of leadership experience in construction, home services, field service, or a related industry, with experience managing operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple departments, and improve operational performance.
• Strong financial acumen with experience reviewing profit and loss statements, budgets, and key business metrics.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
