Embark on an impactful opportunity providing expert respiratory care within a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. This contract role calls for skilled professionals dedicated to supporting patients with complex respiratory needs during the night shift.

Schedule:

• Night shift hours

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Proven experience in respiratory therapy, particularly in acute or LTAC environments
• Proficiency in standard treatment modalities, including mechanical ventilation, airway management, and oxygen therapy
• Strong assessment skills for monitoring patients respiratory status and adjusting care plans accordingly
• Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary medical teams
• Current BLS certification (additional credentials preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care, including nebulizer treatments, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator support for critically ill or chronically ill patients
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to assess, plan, and evaluate respiratory interventions
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies, implementing appropriate crisis protocols
• Accurately document treatments, observations, and patient responses in medical records
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and equipment as needed
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards

$2,451 - $2,584/WeekEstimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
