The applicant must be highly motivated, have solid communication skills and be a team player that can maintain a professional attitude at all times with both patients and staff and most importantly follow direction, work quickly on their feet and understand the "flow" of the office. About the position Full‑time or part‑time schedule with ability to work evenings and Saturdays/Sundays. Responsibilities Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Taking and developing dental radiographs (x‑rays) Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment; provide consistent exceptional service Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth) Performing office tasks that often require the use of a personal computer Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including but not limited to orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and oral surgery Set up and sanitation of exam rooms Ensure medical safety guidelines and procedures are met Ability to have flexible hours; maintain cleanliness of office throughout Ability to take direction from office manager & dentist Qualifications Experience working in general dentistry (preferred) High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills Certifications and licenses (Min X‑Ray License with CDA preferred) If you are a people person, have a positive attitude, and love to learn, come join a winning team!
