Registered Nurse - PRN

Role: The Registered Nurse - PRN - ER provides high-quality, patient-centered care in the emergency department, collaborating with medical providers and the care team. Responsibilities Assess and manage patient pain, perform procedures, monitor, and document care accurately. Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and ensure compassionate care. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle modifications to promote self-management and understanding. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; RN license must be obtained within 30 days of employment. BLS Healthcare Provider certification. At least one year of hospital nursing experience. Key Attributes Compassionate, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex medical information for patients and families. #J-18808-Ljbffr
